Your friends, the youth, braved the cold and the cops, came forward to stand witness against a witness that the Delhi Police tried to manufacture to prove the protests had turned violent so they should be allowed to resort to the use of force against them, and kept up their demonstrations till New Year’s Eve, thus bringing the government to its knees to make the rape laws harsher.
Now first
up, Asaram Bapu, a godman from Jaipur, says, “The victim is as guilty as her rapists. She should
have called the culprits brothers and begged before them to stop. This could
have saved her dignity and life. Can one hand clap?"
Most
interestingly Jyoti Pandey, this man was involved in a sex scandal in his Ahmedabad
ashram two-odd years ago – he used to lure women to have sex with him. The
women themselves were often advised to have sex with the godman, since it elevates their
existence on earth.
Next, as
early as today, RSS Chief Mohanrao Bhagwat kicked up
fresh nonsense, "Marriage is successful only when the wife looks after the
household and the husband takes care of the earning." He says marriage is a contract
between a man and a woman. May he doesn’t agree with your Physiotherapy dreams, which is the wide rift we see between you and the elders and godman .
From one
piece of nonsense we go to another - an 80-year-old
Madhya Pradesh minister, Babulal Gaur, said it was not appropriate to describe marriage as a contract
in India, where husbands for centuries have been revered as 'parmeshwar (god)'
by wives.
So it
seems Jyoti Pandey, women have to submit themselves for sex to a ‘God in the
garb of man,’ or submit themselves to a ‘husband in the garb of God’, which is really
a euphemism for rape and why it happens frequently.
From another blithering blinking ass, Mohanrao Bhagwat,
the powerful RSS Supremo: “Such crimes (rapes and gang rapes) hardly take
place in ‘Bharat’, but they occur frequently in India”. Somebody suggested he
should go back to school. I think, and you will agree, he should go further backwards than that.
The
likes of Sonia Gandhi and Shiela Dikshit are simply exchanging clichés with
each other: "unparalled, unprecedented and undbriddled challenges" - while rapes
continue everywhere. They merely parrot what the speechwriters give them.
Manmohan Singh parroted a speech after your sad demise, complete with a
bloomer, which proved how much he really cared.
We guys
were frothing at our mouths like rabid dogs.
Jyothi, it
would vex you no end to hear the nonsense from our godmen and leaders. Hardly
do they open their mouths than they are booed to shut up. They do not say anything
to solve an issue, rather, they try to obfuscate it with stupid and irrelevant reactions.
One MLA from
Rajasthan said girls should not wear skirts to school. One bold girl like you retaliated:
You change your minds. Why should we change our clothes?

PS: I hardly finish writing to you when a BJP MP on Wednesday said the rape of grown-up girls and women might be understandable. How men see women in India is becoming clear - they see you as pieces of live meat.
Jyoti, men want women to be dependent on them, so they get sex as they want it and as they like it.We are just beginning to understand how backward the average Indian Male is.
No wonder, they do not approve of careers for girls like you because that would make you independent.
